Dr. Paul Sekhon has always enjoyed the company of animals and cannot remember a time when his family did not include at least one pet. Dr. Sekhon has been a veterinarian since 1991. He attended a reputed school of veterinary medicine in India for both graduate and post-graduate studies in veterinary medicine. He is always trying to increase his knowledge and abilities and has taken advanced training in soft tissue surgery, including kidney transplantation and orthopedic surgery. Dr. Sekhon likes the challenges of diagnosing and treating illnesses but what he most enjoys is helping to maintain the health and longevity of our animal companions. In addition to his wife, who is also a veterinarian, he has two wonderful children and two beautiful cats named Jinx and Jazzy. In his spare time Dr. Sekhon enjoys outdoor activities and sports.
Dr. Anna Sekhon graduated from the College of Veterinary Science in India in 1992. She has a vast experience in clinical medicine and research on various animal species. Her main interests lie in internal medicine, dermatology and soft tissue surgeries. Dr. Anna's main strength is providing an excellent service to all her clients and patients. She is an active member of OVMA. Outside of work she enjoys travelling, cooking and playing ping pong. She is blessed with two wonderful children, Karan and Sumeet, and two loving cats, Jazzy and Jinx.
Brittany attended the University of Windsor and graduated with a B.A. in 2010. She later returned to school and graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at St. Clair College in 2013. She loves her two dogs, a Cockapoo named Thumper and a German Shepherd mix named Mika. Brittany has been with Ambassador Animal Hospital since 2014.
Theresa Schroeder graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at St. Clair College in 1995. She has trained various breeds of dogs to participate in show rings since her mid-teens. This has given her a special interest in behavior and nutrition. At home, she spends her time outdoors with her pack of huskies,hairless cat, 2 sons, 2 grandsons and her husband
Bailey graduated from the Veterinary Technician program in 2010 and joined our team here at Ambassador after her maternity leave with Walker Road Animal Hospital. Bailey lives at home with her husband Michael, daughter Emma, son Emerson and dog Toby. Toby shares the house with 2 cats named Jazzy and Chester and his adopted brother Harley. In her spare time Bailey likes to bring the kids shopping,going to the park and spending time with family. When time allows it- she enjoys baking healthy guilt free desserts.
Alyssa graduated from St. Clair College's Veterinary Technician program in 2015. Her interests in the profession include laboratory work and parasitology. After a break to grow her family, she joined the team at Ambassador Animal Hospital in 2019. She enjoys the company of her daughter and spouse James, and the many fur babies they care for at home.
Bayvi attended McMaster University and graduated with a B.Sc in 2018. She is an aspiring veterinarian and a current applicant to the OVC. She developed her interest in veterinary science in her second year of university and began volunteering and working at an animal hospital in Burlington, Ontario. She currently lives with her two cats, Navi and Ori, both adopted from the Windsor-Essex County Humane Society and named after video game characters.
