I chose the veterinary field because I’ve always loved the idea of being able to help those who can’t help themselves (and because ‘dog mom’ isn’t a real job). I attended the Veterinary Technician program at St. Clair College and graduated in June of 2020. The part of veterinary medicine that interests me the most is the surgery/nursing side of it. What I love most about my job is the people (and animals) I get to interact with every day. A fun fact about myself is that I like to go camping every summer.
